Synopsis
A Philosophical Journey of Peace and Sound
On a quiet, windswept island where the waves hum forgotten melodies, Mislav Skračić finds himself stranded—not by force, but by choice. Seeking escape from a world that no longer listens, he carries only a worn guitar and a single wish: peace.I dedicated my video to the camera and the body. I tried to tell my own story about a body trapped in chaos, silence, pain and helplessness. And about a camera that helped me free my body and find my authentic language.
About
a fragile balance
As he roams the rocky cliffs and sunlit shores, his music weaves between solitude and the echoes of the past. Each note he plays becomes a dialogue between him and the vastness of the sea, between longing and acceptance. The island is silent yet alive, a mirror to his own search for meaning.
But peace is not simply the absence of noise; it is a fragile balance, a rhythm that must be found within. When a sudden encounter—whether with a stranger, a memory, or something unseen—challenges his solitude, Mislav is forced to question whether true peace lies in isolation or in harmony with the world.

This story drew me in because it speaks about simple yet profound things – perseverance, nostalgia, the relentless passage of time, but also the liberating feeling of finally doing something just for yourself.
